About CLASS Training
The CLASS is a multifaceted observation system that requires training for appropriate use. The level of training required depends on the intended use of the system.
Who Can Conduct a CLASS Training?
CLASS trainings can only be conducted by individuals who have attended a CLASS Train-the-Trainer session and have been certified as official CLASS trainers.
Types & Cost of Available Trainings We offer the following three types of CLASS trainings. Trainings can also be individualized depending on your interests or needs. Contact us for more information.
Reliability Training
2-Day Training Designed for researchers or others interested in gathering standardized data on CLASS.
Professional Development Training
2 or 3-Day Training Designed for those interested in using the CLASS framework as a professional development tool for working with teachers.
Train-The-Trainer
4-Day Training Designed for those interested in using the CLASS on a large scale who want to be able to train others to use the CLASS measure.
* This training is only offered on location at UNC-Greensboro in Greensboro, NC or the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.
